Arkham’s Botanical currently accepts payment via:

  • BACS (£GBP bank transfer – 5% off if you pay using this)
  • Cash (£GBP/€Euro/$US/$AUS/$CAN – 2.5% off if you pay using this)
  • Cheque (£GBP)
  • Credit & Debit card (all major currencies)

UK Customers – Payment Options

The BACS system is used to securely handle direct bank-to-bank transfers and is a reliable and easy payment option – with the added benefit that it reduces the number of parties involved in processing the payment. Pick the ‘BACS’ option at the Checkout. DO NOT make your transfer from a non-UK account or we will refund you, less the fees incurred by our bank for non-£GBP transfers!
Cash (£) Free Dependent on postal service n/a 2.5% discount if you choose this method to pay for your order. For the most privacy conscious! Pay for your order by cash (Pound sterling only) and we’ll send it out as soon we’ve received your money. Choose the ‘Cash or Cheque’ option at the Checkout and we’ll send our payments address and instructions once your order is completed. Please note that we can’t accept responsibility should cash go missing en route to us – it’s sent at your own risk and we recommend packaging it discreetly and securely (use Registered Mail!).
Cheque (£) Free ~7 days n/a We accept by payment by cheques drawn against a UK bank. Once you’ve made your order selection, choose the ‘Cash or Cheque’ option at the Checkout and we’ll send our payments address and instructions once your order is completed. Cheques are sent at your own risk and we recommend using discreet packaging and a Registered/Tracked Mail service. Please note that to reduce our risk, orders paid for via this route will not be shipped until seven working days after the funds have cleared, so it’s not for the impatient!
Credit & Debit cards (£) Free ~15 minutes Yes Using WorldPay (our secure payments processor) we accept payment by JCB, Mastercard, Maestro and Visa debit and credit cards. When you’re ready to pay, simply select the ‘Mastercard, Maestro, Visa, JCB credit or debit cards (WorldPay)’ option and you’ll be redirected to the encrypted payments form to enter your card details.

What to Do if an Order Goes Through but Payment Fails?

It’s not a common occurrence, but sometimes an order goes through but then the payment fails – or else you realise you chose the wrong payment method entirely… Happily, if you’re a registered member of this website, in such cases it’s usually quick and easy to resolve the situation without resorting to back-and-forth emails!

How to pay for an order via 'My Account'

    1. Click ‘My Account’ from the website’s main navigation menu (log in if you’ve not already done so).
    2. Click ‘Orders’ from the ‘My Account’ sub-menu.
    3. Click the ‘Pay’ button next to the relevant entry in your Order History.
    4. You can now Checkout as normal, selecting the payment method of your choice.
